Just a quick word on where we are.  Last week we received our letters of approval from Wycliffe, approving us for CANDIDACY for membership.  This marked the end and approval of our application process.  What we’re waiting on now is for our prospective target entity (Papua New Guinea) to look over our information and ask for us.  If/when that happens (should be any day now), we’ll be presented with a Pre-field Comprehensive Plan (essentially our official job offer) that will cover field assignment, training requirements, proposed ministry budget (and therefore our support-raising target), and estimated timeline.  Once we receive our PCP, we have time to look over it, ask questions, negotiate, and sign it.  All this should happen in the next 2-3 weeks.  We already know that we’ll be headed in October to Wycliffe USA headquarters in Orlando for a two-week immersive training experience with the whole family.
