Thank you, dear friends, for your prayers! God has answered and we now have a finalized flight itinerary to Papua New Guinea. Praise God! We are sticking to the plan of flying straight to Kokopo, but will be flying the following day to Ukarumpa.
Our kids are getting excited about returning to PNG and seeing their Ukarumpa friends there so much sooner than expected! This is another answer to prayer! Many of our closest friends live very close to our new house, so we’re all looking forward to plugging back into that community.
As we rejoice at God’s guidance, let’s all be encouraged that He sees and hears and provides all we need! We have one more urgent logistical piece that needs to fall into place — we need our passports and visas returned from the PNG Embassy in Washington. If this doesn’t happen, we can’t leave the country on Wednesday! We know every piece of the puzzle is in God’s hands, so we continue to live by faith. Thanks in advance for your prayers.
As we round this last bend of our furlough, please keep our nuclear and extended family in your prayers. This will be a painful yet beautiful few days for us as we make a few more memories together then say goodbye.
