Dear friends,
We are still in a time of waiting and seeking the Lord’s guidance on the next step for our Bible translation ministry. Our family is doing really well here in Ukarumpa: Rebekah and the kids are thriving in homeschool and being around friends, while Aaron is finding plenty of opportunities to study and train. Please continue to pray with us for discernment and clarity as we trust God with the future. Here are some Scripture passages that have brought comfort and encouragement to us over the last several weeks. During this period of waiting on the Lord, we remember that He is good and always faithful. May these words encourage your hearts as well.
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13, NLT
O LORD, I give my life to you.
I trust in you, my God!
Do not let me be disgraced,
or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.
No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced,
but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others.
Show me the right path, O LORD;
point out the road for me to follow.
Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you.
Psalm 25:1-5, NLT
For since the world began,
no ear has heard
and no eye has seen a God like you,
who works for those who wait for him!
And yet, O LORD, you are our Father.
We are the clay, and you are the potter.
We all are formed by your hand.
Isaiah 64:4,8, NLT
So thankful to hear you are all doing well in the midst of waiting. Waiting can be soooo hard. I pray that soon God will give you a clear direction of where you will be serving. We miss your smiling faces around here. Our weather just broke and we finally got some much needed rain.
And…just in case you are interested…the Vols won last weekend! 🙂

Hello Wade Family!
As we all know, waiting is difficult but God will provide His direction in a timely way. Obviously, God has allowed the circumstances for a reason – perhaps for you/family to “refresh”, enjoy one another and be ready for the next assignment. May His presence continue to provide wisdom, discernment, encouragement, protection, sensitivity to God’s Spirit and GREAT JOY as you continue to touch lives for His kingdom.
We love you!
To God be the glory!
