Evie’s Graduation

We’re thrilled to announce that Evie has graduated from high school! On June 6, 2025, she received her diploma from Ukarumpa International School in Papua New Guinea, and graduated as Valedictorian.

To all our friends and family in the US and around the world, we know you have been cheering and praying from afar! Your love, prayers, and support have been a constant blessing throughout her journey. We are so incredibly proud of her dedication and growth through challenges and blessings, made possible by God’s faithfulness in her life.

In her Valedictorian speech, she encouraged each of her classmates to walk through their lives as if they were walking through a botanical garden with the Master Gardener, stopping to ask questions and appreciating His work. She warned against racing through life as if the exit is all that matters. It was a good reminder to all of us in the room.

Evie has returned to the US and has begun her studies at Middle Tennessee State University as a Buchanan Fellow, where she’ll pursue video and film production and journalism. We’re excited to see how the Lord continues to use her God-given creativity and passion in this new chapter.

Please join us in praising God for His faithfulness and goodness in Evie’s life, and for her willingness to love and obey God throughout her life. He has done this. He will do it. Thank you for praying over all of us during this launching process. We miss her terribly, but are looking forward to being in the same country as her for the rest of this year while we’re on furlough. Thank you for your continued prayers for Evie’s spiritual growth during this huge transition to the US.

Big change for all in your family. Prayers for all. Excited for Evie. I loved my college years. The best part was what was then called BSU. I am sure God will put her where He wants her to be to keep growing in Christ. Blessings.

What wonderful news! I know that you/Rebekah are so proud of Evie! And God has such a wonderful plan for her life! May God continue to bless and protect your family, Aaron, and bring unexpected joy throughout life’s journey! If you need additional books or there is any other way that I may assist you/Rebekah, let me know!

    To God be the glory!
